Welcome to CarmelFest – our area’s traditional Independence Day celebration organized by the Rotary Club of Carmel. Gary Sexton, Chairman for the CarmelFest, is leading the all-volunteer committee that organizes this family friendly, community event on July 3rd & 4th in downtown Carmel, Indiana.
Since its inception 28 years ago, CarmelFest has grown to be the largest single annual community gathering for the citizens of Hamilton County and the surrounding neighborhoods. In fact, CarmelFest is one of the largest two-day 4th of July celebrations in the state of Indiana. With our patriotic parade, spectacular Centier Bank fireworks, fantastic entertainment, Indy Connect CarmelFest Has Talent Vocal Competition, festival food and shopping MarketPlace – CarmelFest offers something for everyone.
Each year the CarmelFest committee works diligently to bring you an event that spotlights the best aspects of our community and our national heritage. This year, we will be introducing some new and interesting ideas for your enjoyment, as well as featuring many of the favorite events that make CarmelFest so unique. We hope that you will follow us on Facebook & Twitter, and read our articles in the Current in Carmel Newspaper Publications.
If you’d like to get more involved in the planning process and / or help with hospitality for the festival – we could always use a few more volunteers!
The CarmelFest Committee cares about your safety, to protect both festival attendees and pets, we have a NO PET policy. We greatly appreciate everyone’s help in following this guideline.
