Welcome to CarmelFest, Central Indiana’s premiere Independence Day celebration organized by the Rotary Club of Carmel. James Bednarski, Chairman for the CarmelFest, is leading the all-volunteer committee that organizes this family friendly, community event on Tuesday, July 3 and Wednesday, July 4 at the Civic Square in Carmel, Indiana.
This year CarmelFest is celebrating its 30th year—offering games and rides, your favorite festival food, fantastic entertainment, an outdoor marketplace featuring local artisan creations, and the Centier Bank CarmelFest Parade. The two-day celebration concludes with the city’s biggest fireworks, presented by Allied Solutions with a simulcast by WHJE 91.3. Each year, more than 300 volunteers collaborate to bring this heartland tradition to life for its 55,000 visitors.
Each year the CarmelFest committee works diligently to bring you an event that spotlights the best aspects of our community and our national heritage. This year, we will be introducing some new rides, games, and musical acts for your enjoyment, as well as featuring many of the favorite events that make CarmelFest so unique. We hope that you will follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and read our articles in the Current in Carmel Newspaper Publications.
If you’d like to get more involved in the planning process and / or help with hospitality for the festival, we could always use a few more volunteers!
The CarmelFest Committee cares about your safety and the safety of our beloved furry, feathered, and even scaly friends. To protect both festival attendees and special pets, we have a NO PET policy. We greatly appreciate everyone’s help in following this guideline.
