CarmelFest 2016: 4th of July Parade
“Celebrating Indiana’s Bicentennial”
The CarmelFest Parade Committee is proud to announce that the Grand Marshals for this year’s parade are the record-setting Carmel High School Girls’ Swim Team. In addition to recognizing the accomplishments of the 2016 championship team – we are hoping to locate as many members as possible of CHS girls’ team swimmers from 1986 to 2015 to join in the march.
This year’s CarmelFest parade on Monday – July 4th will celebrate Indiana’s bicentennial and delight spectators with a fabulous array of over 100 entertaining entries including marching bands, motorcycle drill teams, clowns, lively color guards, Colt’s cheerleaders, designed floats, gymnasts, local celebrities, veterans and more.
Following our long-held tradition of recognizing the proud American men and women who have served in the military and those currently enlisted, the Parade will end with a Grand Finale Tribute to the Military – organized by Bec Hunter (parade co-chair) and supported by ReMax.
